Hi fellow North Carolinians

Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself and say hello!  I'm 52 and as of Monday, the grandma of 5 boys.   I have my class and 1st screening tomorrow morning at Southern Surgical in Greenville.  I am excited, nervous, scared, happy...well, you get the picture.   Looking forward to 'meeting' all of you.

Hi Darcie!  Nice to meet you. Thanks for the compliment.  I'ts a curse you know....  (as you all get to know me you'll realize I have a really big dry smart-aleck sense of humor)   I'm leaning towards Dr. Nazari because I've read several comments about his sense of humor.  Dr. Mann was the surgeon for a friend of mine.  She raves about him.  I have to make a decision tomorrow.  Maybe I should just draw one of their names out of a hat. 

Either of them are fantastic. The day of my surgery I was up walking laps around the hospital and Dr. Nazari was out doing rounds and actually stopped and asked how I was doing, him and Dr. Mann work very close with each other and keep an eye out for each others patients... well Dr Nazari asked me how I was doing and then asked me if I wanted to RACE him down the hallway LOLOLOL he is very funny!! Dr. Mann has a great bedside manner and is also funny and makes me laugh.. you cant go wrong with either of them

From one Donna to another Donna ~ ~ Hi and welcome to the best forum on this site!!  These ladies (and gents too!) are the greatest here.  No question is a dumb question.  And even though I have left NC for my home state of VA, these ladies still let me hang out here with them and I do consider this my "home" board.   Good luck on your journey and hope to "see" you around here often! Welcome to the NC boards Donna!  You're going to LOVE the dr's at Southern Surgical they are WONDERFUL!  I'm a little partial but I think our online family is amazing!  Keep us posted on your journey!!!  Welcome again!!

Woohoo!  Another Wilson gal :-) There's a great group that meets in Raleigh on Saturdays.. you should think about joining us.  Maybe we could even carpool (if you don't mind riding with a 3month old :-) Congrats on starting your journey.. it's a wild ride!
