another round of lazer on my face today

I am happy to report I have lost some more weight not what I hoped the scales would say but I will take any loss. I have a second go around with lazer on my face today but this time I have numbing cream they gave me. I am having lazer for my rosasia (sp) and unwanted hair growth. After my first treatment I have been very happy with the results. So Saturday if I look a little black and blue it is from my treatments. We also are taking mother with us to the same doctor our appointments are very close together. The situation with mother is not great. As a family we are pulling together and trying to get her the care she needs. As for her falling this weekend we have decided most of the falls happend because her arthritis is so bad her legs cant handle the extra weight. Also we are having to address her drinking head on but have to face the fact she may go into DT's. We experinced her in DT's after her back surgery 9 years ago and it was a nightmare. I will be taking her to a geriactric (sp) doctor tomorrow at the place she lives and my brother and I are going to have to address the drinking with the doctor and hope she will give mother something to ease the DT's It looks like I am in for a rough time concerning this situation. As for that feeling of wanting to pig out it left as fast as it came on. My workingout really does help relive the stress. It is paying off because physically I am feeling great and my BP is showing it. I feel I am able to come here and talk about things and for that I am grateful for this board.                                                    Annie

I'm so sorry to hear of the difficulties with your mother. I hope that you, your brother and her Dr will be able to help her do what she needs to do to live as well and independently as she can for as long as she can.

Annie: I am so proud of you!   You are going through a lot with your mom and still sticking to your diet and workout program .  I hope I can be that strong when stuff happens.   Hopefully the doctor will be able to give her something to ease her through the withdrawal process.   You take care! Pam

Annie, I'm glad your family is pulling together and getting your Mom the care she needs.  I hope things go well with her drinking, it's a hard thing to deal with but well worth all the troubled times!  Please know we're here for you any time!  As for the laser treatments, they're fun aren't they?  UGH!  I have been having treatments for the past 2 years on my face for unwanted hair also, the clinic I go to just started using a stronger numbing cream and it helps a little more than the old stuff.  I think I'm finally done with my regular treatments and now only have to go once a year for that.  I am still doing some electrolosys for the white stubborn hairs but that's not a biggy for me.   Have a blessed week and remember we're here for you if you need us!
