Hope you feel better soon, Barb. My boss went into the hospital last Sunday with Kidneys Stones. She just got out yesterday. She was so bad it infected her Kidneys (IV)  for a week and she is still on antibiotics. They also put a stint in.  She see's the Surgeon on Thursday. Keep us posted, Please. Reenie

Reenie,

I'm so very sorry to hear of the complications that your boss suffered. I have an appointment with a urologist tomorrow. I am hoping that the stones will pass uneventfully ... and soon.

Thanks again,

Barb

Oh Barb, sorry you're having to deal with this problem.  I sure am glad you had a good experience at the hospital and that they managed your pain; that is a major patient satisifaction score at our ED.  I hope the stones pass quickly and painlessly.  Take care of yourself!  Alice

Alice,

Thanks for your sweet note. My first experience with a hospital in North Carolina was a month after we moved here when I was t-boned, shattering my left leg and severing my left ankle. The care I received at Rex Hospital was fabulous and it has been everytime I have used their services ... ER and otherwise. If our medical insurance didn't dictate that we use a Medicare approved COE for my RNY and my husband's we definitely would use Rex.

How are you and your family doing? You are on my mind lately.

Warmly,

Barb

Thanks Mare.

I'm feeling much better today. I know that I'll probably have another attack as they move through, but for today I feel pretty good.
