Has anyone had surgery at Duke lately?

I agree with less calling but, I have been waiting since June 2007 and if you don't call you will never ever hear from them. When you do call they have lost your records and test. You do have to be pro-active to get anything done it appears. I waited 3 months for a call after a test because I knew they were busy only to find they didn't have my test. So what's a person to do????? If they are that busy they need to get more help. They had a message board and could post you a message there to save the incoming calls. I hate to say it because I worked for Duke and loved them but, this has been the most unorganized Department I have ever hear of. Shame on Duke for letting it run this way.
