Annie,
I'm so very sorry to hear that you mother isn't doing well. It's so very distressing to have our parents in ill health. While this is really difficult, you are so very much healthier and able to care for her this year than you were last year. I'm hoping that you will continue to take the time you need to take care of yourself so that you will be able to care for her.
Love,
Barb

Annie, I am so sorry for what you are going through now. Having recently experienced the loss of my mother after having been her major caregiver for two years, I fully realize the amount of stress and strain it places on you and your life. My heart goes out to you and to your mother. After my Mother had her first below knee amputation and was undergoing rehab and PT for that, there were several times she would call us to come over and get her up out of the floor rather than press her Life Alert button which she paid for monthly. It was a hard thing to face, seeing her so helpless. It would take my husband and myself working together to get her back into her wheelchair at her weight of around 200 pounds. That was definitely a motivating factor in my getting my lap band procedure done. But the stress, especially towards the end, also made it hard to eat to maintain continuing weight loss. So, Annie, I will keep you and your family in my prayers and ask that you do the same for mine. We will lift each other up. You have worked hard and done a wonderful job. You should be so very proud.
