Well, I am almost there, five days left and I am done.  This opti-fast diet has been a little tough.  I have a few hard days but I have been able to do it.  I have had so may temptations like keeping my grandson and feeding him and then everyone at work had fresh strawberries and ice cream the other day.  I have to give myself a pat on the back though I had done it now it really doesn't bother me I just hope the the two weeks after surgery will be a little easier.  Just had to give myself  a hand!  Thanks everyone for all your support so far!!! Lisa

You've done great Lisa. Liquid diets are a pain but they do get better after surgery. If you're like me, you won't want anything to eat anyway.             I still have to remind myself to put food in my belly. You would never think that food would be the furthest thing from my mind. I probably should be eating more than I am to get that damn scale moving again. LOL Good luck. You're gonna be fine. xoxo Mare

Congrats Lisa...it does get much easier after surgery.  I am almost 3 months out and don't eat because I am hungry but because the clock says so.   The only time i think i am hungry is when i am stressed and then i know it is head hunger.   It is amazing the change in attitude but from what i hear, the first 6 months are like this and considered the honeymoon period.   Would love if this would stay like this forever! Good luck and keep up the great work! Pam
