Update on JamieLynn11

I had the pleasure of being Jamie's nurse for about 15 minutes yesterday after she came to her room.  It was, unfortunately, at shift change so I didn't get to take care of her very long.  I got to meet her and her family, though, and get her settled into her room.  I am going to go up there today and check on her.  She did ask me to pass along to y'all that she came through just fine and is now officially on the loser's bench!   She looks great and was smiling ear to ear!  She was so happy ... and looked much more comfy than I remember feeling at that point when I got out of surgery.  lol  Thank goodness for pain meds, right?   I love my job and the days that I get to meet and take care of OH buddies here make it so rewarding!  I enjoy meeting each and every one of you and seeing you begin your new lives!

Thanks so much for the update!!  She is blessed to have you to look after her, even if it was for a short time!  Tell her HI  for us and that we miss her and wish her the BEST!!   Andrea

Thanks, Lisa!  I'm doing great.  How are you feeling these days?  Doesn't it just keep getting better?

I went to see her this afternoon.  She is doing superb!  Said she is a little sore, but that's to be expected.  She is much brighter and more alert than when I saw her last night.  Her friend was there visiting with her, who just had surgery in January.  I think her name is Christy ... I hope I got that right! The walls and shelves in her room are covered with cards from her OH buddies.  I wish I had taken my camera with me!   I'm sure she'll update y'all as soon as she gets home, which is probably not too far away for her.  She looks great!

Dena, Thanks for giving us the update on JamieLynn!  Please tell her we're thinking about her and we know she's getting the best patient care (if all the nurses are like you there!)...  Anyway, thanks for the update!
