OT: Update on new job and house. . .

First let me start by thanking those of you *****plied to my last post.  I have talked to my surgeon regarding my feelings of depression and he advised me to talk to my PCP about some meds.  Which is fine and good except I don't have a PCP here in VA yet so right now that's not helping me.  I think I will try to ride this out for a while and see what happens.  I don't feel depressed every single day but it does seem to me that there are more sad and blue days since surgery.  Maybe it's just a mid life crisis, who knows. . . LOL!!  But anyways, I really do appreciate everyone's response and will stay on top of this situation to keep it from getting worse.  You guys are the greatest! Now for the good news. As some of you know, I started a new job today and I think I am really gonna like it!  It is going to be challenging which is a good thing as I tend to get bored very easily if I'm not challenged.  Also, for those *****ad my last post, you know that Scott and I put in an offer on a house today and we got it!!  FOR $10,000 LESS THAN IT WAS LISTED FOR!!!!  We are both in shock right now because we thought there was no way the sellers would come down that much.   We are very excited and can't wait to get everything finalized.  Just wanted to share.  Thanks for listening!

Donna, Great news on the house.   You are gonna be so busy getting everything ready. Did your son enjoy the race in Winston the night of our lunch?  He is such a nice young man-polite and good looking.  You are lucky to have 2 great men in your life.  Things will only get better and so will you. Take care and look forward to seeing you soon at another get together, Dianne

Hey Dianne! Unfortunately, we got rained out at the race that night.  What a bummer!!   Brandon was soooo disappointed.  But those things happen.  Thank you for your comments about his behavior.  He is such a good kid (most of the time!) and I am blessed to have him. He was amazed at how much weight everyone had lost.  It was "cool" in his words.  That's great praise coming from a 15 year old!!!  Hopefully we will be able to make the next lunch.  We all had a wonderful time. Hugs, Donna
