Grand Baby

I have had my 7 month old grand baby stay with me for 3 weeks and today I had to give her back. I cried from Lexington to Charlotte and I think I'm so crazy for becoming so attached to her. The only good thing that happened today is I found Trader Joe's so I shopped .I know people were looking at me and my big red eyes. My husband said I needed to stop crying. I told him their only looking because they are not use to seeing fat people  in there lol. I will be ok in a few days.

That had to be sooooooo hard but i bet her parents were really missing her too!   I am old enough for grandchildren but since I started late, my child is only 18 and in college so it will be a long time before i have one. You take care and remember you can see her anytime and talk to her on the phone. Take care, Pam

Lynn,  You sure are not alone on giving back the grand baby.  LOL I know excatly how you feel, I'm very attached to my Granddaughter  and there was a time when I had to give her back  to her Mom and Ouuuu OUCH!  It felt like someone took a piece of my heart, However when I shop I usually shop for her (yes she is spoiled) and then I feel better.  LOL    She will be 4 tomorrow!   They just have a way of tugging at our heart strings don't they?
