Went into catos to hunt for shorts...GW  had none in my size.  Picked up 24's  they were to big....bought the 22 and have room. I don't know how many years it has been since I was in a 22. Made me happy.  I tried in a tank top and ohhhh my what has happend to my arms.  They are disgusting.  No tank tops for me!  Oh well..I can live with short sleeves.  My bathing suits will have to be covered at both ends. Good thing my self esteem is not totally governed by my looks.  It doesn't matter I am sooooooohappy I am loosing weight and feeling better. What do I expect for a 54 year old woman which had been obeise 95 percent of my life.  Can't wait to get to goal.  WLS was the wisest decision I have ever made. Thanks wls family for hearing me out. I agree- my arms are awful, but like you I have dropped many sizes in the past few months. I was in a solid 5x of most shirts and now I'm in a 1x. I tried on a 1x (marked 16W) at Walmart the other day and it fit-- talk about a shock!!! It's so crazy.

Congrats on all of your success... its only the start of what is to come! Keep up the good work!

That is fantastic Myrtis!!!   I also have wings already but I just make fun of them and tell my coworkers..one day they will look out the window (we are on the 3rd floor) and they will see me flying out there.   I try to keep my sense of humor about it all and if ppl don't like it ..there problem.   Now saying that, i will not wear tank tops and prefer the 3/4 sleeves.   Keep up the awesome work! Pam

I am hot natured so I will have to wear short sleeves at least. I think if I get short sleeve light weight shirts and use them like a over shirt the tank will work and air can move around my arms and shoulders. I wore one like that last Sunday.  At the pool I'll have to either keep my arms down or uses a cover up.  i'll deal with it some how. I just glad the numbers are going down. I am only 25 pounds from onderland and can;t wait. Good luck on your progress Myrtis
