Anyone had pain in the tailbone area?

YESSSSSS!!!  My sister told me that that was "abnormal" and that I needed to go to the doctor about it, that I had probably broken my tailbone.  No, it's completely NORMAL for WLS patients.  I told her she'd see what I meant once she has her lap band surgery.   I don't have to sit for any period of time, just sitting in the car or sitting in the recliner or wherever brings on the discomfort.  I have to kind of sit more on a butt cheek, if that makes any sense, to avoid it hurting so much.  I guess I need to do some butt exercises to shape it up, from what I've read above.  What are y'all doing to make your butt more firm/fluffy?

Thanks everybody... I feel a lot better now that I know others have had the same thing...  and it makes sense when I think about it.  I bought another cushion from a medical supply store yesterday and it is helping.   Have a great day!  Alice

Alice, Sorry about the delay, just had a moment to check messages...  Anyway, I'm over 5 years PO and have had the pain you describe for at least the last 5 years.  I was told it was a tailbone injury since I was dropped at the hospital but I can't believe so many of us have the same pain if that's the case.  I really think it's just from have so much extra padding before and loosing it so quickly.   Anyway, I can't find any relief and I have to sit 12 hours at a time at work (can't get up too often but I shift my seating a lot).. so if you find anything that helps please let me know! Thanks girl!
