I had my surgery April 15, all went well, until that night my heart rate went up way to high and oxygen levels went down...it was very scary for  David for a while ( i was pretty much out of it)... i had to go back into surgery that night but they didn't find any leaks and decided my problem was the meds and my body reactions to surgery??..I  got out of the hospital late Friday night....so nice to be home...it has taken me until today to even feel like putting on clothes and join the living!  I let my self jump on the scales this morning and I have lost 10 lbs.  I have got to start doing lots more walking ..i have just been walking in the house and in the back yard...but doing the best i could.....now i feel like i can bump it up a little............I am feeling so much better now and ready to start this adventure!.......~Mary~

Hi,  I had my surgery on the 14th at Duke.  I am sorry that you had some problems.  It must have been scary for the family.  Congrats on being at home.  I know that feeling too about starting the adventure.  Good luck.

Welcome Home and just take things slow, you had major surgery and your body needs to heal. Listen to your body when it tells you to rest or nap or just take it slow.So happy that you are doing well
