My First Support Group Meeting

   I went to my first support group meeting last night at Presyterian Hospital in Charlotte. As my surgery was not something I had planned that long in advance I had never been before my RNY. There was a nut there and she gave some good info, very nice group of people. I chatted with some fabulous peole afterward who either had surgery and got rid of their Diabetes or were planning to have it for Diabtetes purposes.    I hopefully will be able to attend another one but my schedule is so busy, that may just be an impossiblity. Jennifer K it was nice to say hello to you.

Hurray!   I'm glad you had a good time at your first support group, and I'm soooooo jealous that you got to meet Jennifer K.   I hope you get the chance to attend more of them -- not only because you get so much out of them but because you seem to be someone who can provide a lot of support and resource to others.

I messed up and didn't remember the meeting.  I haven't been to any yet but am sure we can all get alot out of them.   And...you got to meet Jennifer!   Can't wait to meet some of the wonderful ppl I have met on this site.  Sorry I didn't get to meet you but maybe at another meeting. Take care, Pam
