Guiding Light has a wls story line

Has anyone watched this?  One of the girl's on Guiding Light is having weight loss surgery on the show.  I do not know if she has had it in real life, but it has been pretty interesting, and it seems like they are trying to break down some of the stereotyping.....

I haven't been watching GL as much as I used too.....scheduling conflicts.... but I jus****ched it a time or 2 last week and I am very interested in seeing how this plays out!

I used to watch this show all the time, but haven't really lately due to work, etc. I still record Y&R, but that is enough for me to keep up with! I've very interested in seeing this though and may have to go look up the epsidoes online! Which character is persuing wls?  Thanks for sharing!
