I had my surgury on April 1 and came home on the 5th. I had a few little problems and I stayed on the step down unit at Durham due to my sleep apnea.I am real sick of the liquid diet and am lookinfg forward to the next stage of soft I think.I go back for an anppointment on the 25th and hope to see that the scales show some dropage of pounds. I am doing good, taking only a pain pill at night. Actually I really don't know why I am up so late now.Good luck to all who are thinking about having this done

Betty,

Welcome home. I'm sorry to hear that you had some difficulties in the beginning, but hope that you will have a smooth recovery.

I truly understand already being tired of the liquid diet, but this too shall pass.

Hang in there and welcome to the loser's bench.

Barb

Welcome home!   I am sure the next 11 days will fly by.  I spent the time after surgery and before soft foods dreaming about what my first soft food was going to be...lmao! Take care and keep up the good  work! Pam
