Surgery tomorrow

I am sitting here having my clear liquids and reading all the posts from you sweet people, everyone is so nice. I haven't been on in a while, I have been so busy with "things" for lack of a better word..LOL.., one being our daugther and gradaugther moved in with us ...our life has been turned upside down lately...some good ..some bad.....but life goes on and my surgery is tomorrow!   They changed my doctor to Dr. DeMaria because of complications I may have with the surgery. I met him last week and he was so nice. We talked about maybe doing a gastric sleeve or doing a RNY open, or doing a regular lap RNY ...it will all depend on what he finds when he gets me  in the OR. ...they are afraid I may have scar tissue and adhesion's due to my other surgery's.....sooo tomorrow I will know.. ..I am fine with what ever they do. I just want it done and get on with getting healthier more active...... Please keep us in your prayers and that all will go well tomorrow........TOMORROW IS MY DAY  .~Mary~ 

Congratulations on finally making it to your day Mary!  I promise you that you will not regret your decision.  My "new life" is so much better because I feel and look so much better.  I look forward to watching your progress.  Take care and good luck!  Keep us posted!!!

I wanted you to know that I am so extremely happy for you!!  Please don't feel bad because you're getting the surgery now.  My time will come when it's supposed to.  Take notes so you can tell me all about it when you get home!! My thoughts and prayers are with you Mary.   I have a big ol zipper scar from gallbladder removal years ago and was lucky enough to have the lap RNY.   Hope when they get in, you have the same luck as it will make the healing much easier. Take care and God Bless!    Pam
