Tomorrow is my big day!
Well tomorrow is my big day. I am excited like a little kid. Today I have to start my magasnia stuff. One of my friends described this as the worst part on the entire procedure. LOL. I have a few last minute business things I want to do and then around noon I will start it. I hope that is not too late? I just want to say I do enjoy reading everyones chatter. You all have been a life line for my anxiety. I am ready now. I will check in on Wednesday with what I hope is only positive remarks. Take care everyone.

Hi Lizzy,
I know just how you feel. It's hard to believe that it's been 10 months since I was in your position. I don't think I started my lovely ****tail until about 2 pm, so I think you should be just fine. I found that the best way to handle that stuff was to drink it over crushed ice so it would be as cold as possible and to just "chug" it down. While it wasn't pleasant, it wasn't as bad I thought it might be. Be sure to take it all, even though it's unpleasant. I had a rare incident occur where they punctured my colon during the first incision. The fact that I had done a good job with the bowel cleanse is what allowed them to continue the surgery laparoscopically because they didn't have a contamination issue ... btw, all is well, no complications associated with the punctured bowel that was repaired.
I hope to see you soon at one of the Duke Support Group meetings.
Take care and god bless you and your medical team.
