Since some ppl have told me your body can only absorb 25 g at a time, I drink half in the a.m. and the remainder later in the day. I know some ppl have said they mix with Crystal Light but i just drink out of the vial and get it over and done with.
Good luck, Pam
Angie,
My psychologist had RNY 9 years ago and she recommended that I visit bariatriceating.com. They have a sampler basket for about $50-$60. I haven't ordered it yet, but I plan to. It has samples of both liquid and powder I think. There are also recipes on the website to give you ideas of what you can mix them in to get a tasty drink. It seems like a good way to get a lot of samples of a lot of different types of protein without spending a lot of money on something you might not like. Hope this helps.

I have ordered the protein bullets from bariatriceating.com and they are great. I mix 1/2 a bullet with about 20 oz water and an individual serving of crystal lite - I get the fruit punch flavor and they are delicious. I have also orderd the dessert flavored protein powder from there, the Banana nut and chocolate fudge, and they are delicious. Just add cold water, even flavored sugar free syrups, shake in a blender ball cup and drink. They really are good!!!! I also add the whey unflavored protein powder to my sugar free puddings.
I too am on the pureed stage and am managing with tuna salad made with sugar free pickles and sugar free pickle juice with small amount of low fat mayo, chicken salad made the same way, soft scrambled egg with laughing cow cheese added for texture and flavor, cottage cheese with sugar free strawberry jam added - all kinds of things!
