Sorry you're having to wait! I am going to be a patient of Dr. Moran, I have my first appointment April 28th.  What do you think of him and his office?  Has the entire process been long and drawn out?  I guess I just want this so bad that it seems like everything is hurry up and wait . . .  Anything you could tell me would be super!

Everything has been long it seems like to me, I am alot like you just ready to get it done. I had a hard time making my first appt. I had to cancel 2 or 3 appts. The office is nice, Dr. Moran is ok not a men of alot of words, He is straight and to the point. My cousin is also one of his patients so he said I could ask her anything I wanted to know. LOL.  The required labs and the other appts. I had was quick, but waiting for insurance is killing me. Ann is little sour to me she never sounds like she wants to be botherd.  But other than that I have heard great things. My cousin is very happy with everything, hopefully I will to. I hope this helped.

Latoya, Keep the faith GF I totally understand about you just want to go do it and get on with your new life. I belive all things happen in thier own time. The stuff before surgery is so frustrating and in many ways I think harder than the actual surgery. Dont give up and make sure that you really want this surgery. I tell people you have to want it more than anything you have ever wanted before and you have to be willing to make serious changes with yourself and our relationship to food. To this day I will see something like a footlong Subway and remember how easy it was when I could eat a footlong no problem. Now I know physically no way could I do a footlong subway or even try to do one. So it is ok and I am happy sitting here eatting my Melba Toast and cheese and cup of soup. I love my new life. Best wishes to you and your soon to be new life.                                            Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?
