Not feeling up to par here this cold/flu is kicking my butt. Been sleeping alot.Took what was going to be an hour nap yesterday turned into 2.5 hours. Thought about taking the babies on our walk this morning but just feeling wiped out. I told myself to take the weekend off from working out. It scares me to stop because it is hell to start back after stopping. I think just a few days off I should be okay. The scale was up 4lbs this morning OMG this makes me nuts maybe I am holding fluids since I am sick.                                          Annie

Annie, I hope you're feeling better soon !!!  Don't beat yourself up girl!  We all need a break, just make sure to get back to it once your feeling better!!!!  You probably are holding fluids also, if you don't get back on track make sure to talk with your doc, it may be a side effect from some medication or something.   Get better soon girl! Hey Annie -

I'm so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. I'm sure that taking some time to recoup will be good for you and that you will get back in the groove as soon as you feel up to it. Remember that you might have to work back up to your workout, but you'll bounce back a lot quicker because you have been exercising regularly.

Take care,

Barb

Hey Annie: I understand the guilt you feel not exercising but sometimes we just have to listen to our bodies....and if yours tells you to rest, you better do it or it will take longer for you to feel better.   A few days may be just what you need.    Oh....and do i understand hubbies having good intentions but no matter how hard they try...well...you know the rest. Take care of yourself and feel better! Take care, Pam

hey Annie, sorry you're under the weather.  When I had the Pitt County Crud a few weeks ago, I didn't exercise because I didn't want to get hot and sweaty which seemed to bring on more coughing.  Hope you feel back to your ole self soon!
