Hey Jami! I always enjoy reading your messages!! You tickle me. I also laugh while I am reading them. You sound like you are doing great! I can't wait to see some new pictures! I noticed you lived in Havelock. I use to live in Newpot and worked at the Food Lion by the movie theather. It is such a small world. Keep up the good work and funny postings!!

LOL  I am happy to amuse you, I often amuse myself.. I am doing GREAT!!  It is amazing, after literally having your guts sliced, rerouted and rearranged, how good one could possibly feel a few weeks out!!  Although I don't think i will ever tell that to a cow heading to the butcher...HEHEHE He may beg to differ  Yeppers, i live in good ol' Havelock, well actually we live on base, about 6 miles back, it is so very peaceful by the river, but we are ready to get out of base housing and get our own house on of these years. Hubby has been stationed here ALL 12 years of his Marine Corps career, so we are officially Local Folk!! :)
How far is Wilson from here??  It sure is a small world!! I really hope you have much success going through your pre-op process! Just be PATIENT and be prepared for possible setbacks, but just remember how worth it, it is all going to be in the end!!

Hi Angie, I also have Dr. Naziri.  He is great.  I have just finished all my appointments and I am hoping to schedule my surgery in June - when the kids are out of school so I will have some help LOL.  We can go on this journey together     Lizzie

You are moving right along! I had surgery in October of last year, but my hubby hopes to have it in June also. His doctor is Dr. Mann and I think he's going to the same nutrition class as you next week.    That nutrition class and his follow-up with the pulmonary doctor will be it. We hope to meet with Dr. Mann sometime in May and get surgery scheduled for early June! He had his endoscopy on Wednesday and sleep study last night so you can see SS moves you right along.  You'll be on the losing side in no time! Good luck with all of your preops!

Sounds like things are moving right along Angie!  With each appointment you get closer to surgery and closer to your goal!  It's all so exciting, yet nerve-wracking at the same time, isn't it?  Good luck, I hope everything continues to go smoothly for you (I'm sure it will.)  You'll be posting "I have a date" in no-time!  :)
