Pity party turned into a few wow moments!
Well for the last few days I have been down as I didn't feel my wt was coming off fast enough (as if this is a contest!). After a few days of that crap, I was on my way to work this morning and realized that i have lost 42 lbs in 8 weeks (2 weeks pre-op and since) which averages out to over 5 lbs a week! I then asked myself what other diet have i ever been on where i lost that much weight and the answer is NONE! When i had tried w****chers and followed it faithfully, I was lucky to average 10 lbs a month so i have actually lost twice as fast....WOW! Then I got to work and my coworkers, who are wonderful, told me i was going to have to hold my trousers up with a rope. When i started on this journey, I was wearing 28s which were snug. The trousers I have been wearing now are 24's and to big but 22's are still to snug for my liking. When have i ever gone down 2 sizes in 2 months and again the answer is never....my second WOW moment of the day.
So ladies....anytime i or any of us have a pity party.... I or we just need to put things in the proper perspective and appreciate this wonderful journey we are on.
Love you all and thanks for all of your support!!

Pam -
Thanks for sharing your WOW moments and your perspective. You are so very right when you say that sometimes we have to step back and take a good look at it to see just how very far we have come in a relatively short period of time.
Congratulations and wishing you continued success on your journey,

Yea for perspective!
I thought the scale was stuck for a long time and was dreading That Stern Look from my surgeon when I went in for a fill yesterday. But it turned out that I'd lost 12 pounds since my last appoint four weeks ago. You could have knocked me over with a feather. Then on my way out of the office, I was wondering what 39 pounds of apples would look like. Funny how 20 minutes changed my thoughts around.
Like you, I've been struggling with fatigue and exhaustion the past 2-3 weeks. Turns out to be a flare-up of fibromyalgia. Should be better in a few weeks.
