How vain I am........

I'm heading back to work at noon, and my elderly neighbor is trimming the bushes that separate our houses, so I cordially throw a wave. He stops trimmers, and says, "hey girl, what'd cha' do to yourself?" And me,,,,,,,,,I was soaking in the moment, acted dumb, and said, "oh, my new haircolor????????" (acting really bewildered), and he says, (get this-) "no, you've lost some weight, QUITE A BIT OF WEIGHT, it's very noticable." I gave him a big smile and said, "Well, thank you, I feel much better!" He said, "I bet!" So, I climbed in my car, casually flipped on my shades, and left for work with an inner smile of satisfaction. Am I vain or what???????????? LOL, pretending like I didn't know what that man was talking about, LOL. I think I just wanted to hear him say it, pathetic, huh???????? Sometimes I crack myself up. Nancy

Eat it up! You worked hard for comments like that, we all have! At some point, our new weight will become normal to those around us, and then you won't get to hear those wonderful comments anymore, so I say seek them out and enjoy them! You deserve it!
