Just wondering what your incisions looked like after 10 days?  The one where the camera went in is a little red and puffy...is that normal?  It doesn't really hurt or anything, I'm just worried that it may be infected.  Thanks again for any insight you guys may have...as usual....y'all are a bunch of angels!   ' Hugs, Kim

Mine was red and a little puffy.  I did have just a touch of dranage from one cause I had a stitch hanging out.  I just kept it clean and covered.  The stich was in the incision in the center just below my the center of my boobs and to this day I have a small white lump which he tells me is from the stitch but it will eventually go away.  They do tell you to not get sun on them for a long time becuase it will damage the healing tissue and scar it.  Mine are fading now, 9 months out.  The little white bump bothers me but oh well and this incision did get some sun early out and it is alittle darker than the others.  These are my battle scars!!

That is very normal, mine was all that and bruised too.  Now a year later, they are barely noticable.  Good thing is as your tummy shrinks, so do your scars!

Congratulations, sounds like you are right on track!

There are pictures of mine in my profile.  I developed a reaction to the benzoin they put on to adhere the steri-strips 1 week postop when they took my staples out.   If you start having drainage around that site, redness that gets larger around it, or it becomes more tender, please call your doc immediately.  Also, if you run a temperature above 101 then you need to call your doc.  Otherwise, if it isn't any more tender, etc., it's just going through it's normal healing process.

I'm 4 months out and mine are "closed"...but mine still are a bit puffed up.  I am not sure if they will completely get smooth with my skin...but one of te 6 is.  Very strange.

Yeah.. mine was a bit red and puffy too at 10 days.  :)  I would not worry unless it starts looking obviously infected.. with pus and all.  :)
