I just found out some information about Mary. She needs our thoughts and prayers.

Hi all! I looked on Mary's surgery support page and found a number on there for her husband Mike. I contacted him a few minutes ago, and he sounds stressed and worried. He said that last night Mary somehow was overdosed on Morphine and she quit breathing and her heart stopped. He said they helped her and somehow were able to reverse it, but they are still having problems with her heart being irregular so they were not letting her walk. He also said she is in pain because of the morphine problem. He said hopefully in the next little while they will be able to help her with pain and getting her and around. I just wanted to let everyone know. I am praying for her and if you would, stop by her surgery page and show her some support. I told Mike I would call them later on and I will let you all know as soon as hear something. She is at Durham Regional Hospital. I would love to go by but my schedule will not permit it. :( JamieLynn

OMG!!!!!! I got chills reading that!! Bless her heart!! THANK YOU Jamie for getting in touch with someone and letting us know!! Overdose on morphine??? WTH?? Her poor hubby has every reason to be stressed!! UGH!! This is supposed to be a joyous surgery and hers is so far a nightmare!!

I will say a prayer for her and her hubby!! Thanks again and please keep us updated!!!

I too will keep her in my prayers. I know mistakes happen but DUKE should not have let that Overdose happen. I will pray for her!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm Mary's angel and have been trying to reach them since the surgery. Everytime I call the phone just rings and rings. I've been getting worried, but didn't want to post until I knew something.

Wow JamieLynn! How terrifying! I can only imagine how scared Mike must be, not to mention Mary! When you do talk to him again please let him know that we're keeping Mary in our prayers!
