I just got some bad news...

Thanks Jami, we're trying to think positive, at least we still have George and Henny Penny!  I really think we'll be going out this weekend and getting a few more.  I'll pass the hug on to Rex, I know he'll appreciate it. He's handling this better than I am I think.... But he's been around this all his life.  I'm just a dumb ol' city girl trying to get country-fied... lol!  Sheryl

Oh Sheryl, I'm so sorry to hear that!  I can only imagine how that felt for Rex to find them!  :(  I've never had any chickens or anything, but I can certainly understand being attached to a pet, so I sympathize.  It sounds like double buried fencing is a good idea to me!

Awww how sad. :( I had a couple of ducks and chickens when I was growing up. I remember a fox getting my big rooster one night, it was awful.

Aaaaaawww...So sorry friend. My brother & I had 3 baby chicks for a total of 2 days when we were about 12 and 13. Dogs got 'em 2nd night with us. Poor teeny, tiny things! So sorry. Hugs to you. I'll call you later so we can solidify plans for the 18th. Miss you!! xoxo
