I got a date!
JamieLynn,
Congratulations on your date!!!! I know you're scared and excited at the same time, that is very normal! You're not strange at all, I didn't have much time to think about it before my surgery (I found out my date the night before), but I did write a letter to my family that night before. I think we all think about the mortality, but just think of how much healthier you will be! If I hadn't had my surgery 5 years ago I probably wouldn't be here now... so I am VERY thankful! Think positive and keep your chin up, you'll do marvelous girl! Don't forget to get a journal of some sort so you can write down your "WOW" moments afterwards! In fact, start writing in it before your WLS about the things you'll be excited to be able to do, you'll be surprised at how quickly you'll be able to check them off!
Best of luck to you, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!
