I need new pants!

I haven't lost that much weight, but last month when LisaW and I went Goodwill Hunting I bought size 8 pants and I'm just swimming in them today. The scale hasn't moved that much, but as my mother said, my sand seems to have shifted. We're going to do some shopping for some size 6's.

that is awesome and i hear Goodwill is great for small sizes.   My sis-in-law just loves to shop there. Take care, Pam

My local GW's are great for 10 through 14's ... I can find 8's, but 6's are a bit scarce and I don't see quite as many of the 'quality clothes' as I do in the 10's. Lower than an 8 seems to be more for the younger crowd. I just told Reenie that if I got down to the weight my surgeon says is ideal for me, I think I'd probably wear a 2 or 4 and that's just too small, so I think I'm going to put the brakes on.

Way to go!  I don't know if I'll ever see a size 8 in my closet, but I'm loving the Goodwill myself these days!

Dena -

I think that you have done an absolutely amazing job and as long as you feel wonderful, who cares what size the tag says! Enjoy your Goodwill Hunting expeditions.

Congratulations Barb, a size 6. I can't imagine me getting that small. I think the last time was in the 9th grade. Ha!Ha!. How tall are you? I'm 5"2". Reenie

I don't think I ever wore a size 6 women's size before. I think I went straight from girls plus sizes to larger misses sizes when I was a kid and completely passed by the single digit misses sizes. I'm just a breath shy of 5'6" ... I've pretty much decided that I'm not going to get any smaller. If I lost down to what my surgeon says is my 'ideal' weight, I think I'd be wearing a size 2 ... UGH. Nope, a six is small enough. Even though I wear a six on the bottom, I still wear at least a 10 on the top ... It's that bodacious rack I have you know!!! LOL. Not really, while I have more chest than I used to ... relatively speaking, I actually have a HUGE ribcage.
