I went to see Dr Eaves at Charlotte Plastic today AND..................... I AM GET MY PANNI removed YEA , he is so wonderful he explained everything to me and I feel so much better!!!!! He is doing a circle panni removal so my cut will be across my tummy this will allow for the top skin to also be removed , I will lose my belly button ( I don't care I have not been able to see it since I was 19 anyways LOL ,,, later on I can go back and have it replaced if I want, as I plan to do one day after I pay off my RNY , may even get the old girls a little lift  and a butt put back on )   heeeheee...  So here is my date --- April 23rd . I am so excited almost to the point of when I had my RNY, to be able to exercise agin without rash worry YEA. All I can say is Dr Eaves is a wonderful caring man and he really has made my day, anyone in the market for plastic's I would suggest him.  Love you all , Pugs Momma

I'm so glad everything worked out for you. Having the panni removed will really help you move better. I found exercise so much easier with the panni gone. I had 11 pounds removed. Belinda

That's great news!  Good luck! Question:  Is your insurance covering the procedure?  If so, how did you get them to approve it?  My dad had RNY 2 years ago and has started to get rashes and would love to have this done, but the price is a little high for him.  I love to pass on any info you might have. Congrats, again! Amanda

Thank you all so much !!! I was a self pay RNY person but due to reoccuring yeast infections and rashes, my insurance comapny after recieving a letter from my OBGYN , PCP and the plastic surgeron decided it was a medical issue not cosmetic. Your  dad should go to a plastic surgeron and see if he is a canadate for the procedure.  Allison

I am so excited for you Allison....that is awesome!   Do they have to hospitalize you for the surgery?  Only about a month to go and no liquid diet for a few weeks before this one...lmao!! Good luck and keep us posted. Take care, Pam
