Barbara -
You have done a fantastic job. Your body needs and is taking a breather. 35 lbs is a significant amount of weight for anyone to lose, but especially when you are a lightweight like you or me. You body is holding on to every ounce of reserves it has for dear life right now. It will give up the pounds again soon. It is so true that the tape measure will often show progress when the scales hold out on you. You are making progress and will continue to do so.
If you haven't done so already, go check out www.thinnerself.com and plug your information into the Chart Weights and Inches section. I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised to find out that you are doing very well when stacked up against those that have the same demographics. Sometimes it's hard to see others losing more and/or faster than we are; but often we aren't comparing apples to apples. This allows you to do just that. You are compared to other people who meet your demographics, including age, sex, height, weight at surgery, current weight, days out from surgery etc ... It also has a great function that allows you to track your measurements in detail and then shows you a graphic representation of the progress you've made.
I doubt that your Nut. will give you a hard time about your loss pattern because they know that your body will lose in a somewhat cyclical pattern. Remember, they see this all the time ... it's just new to us.
Keep getting your protien and hydration. Keep moving. It will come off ... really it will.
Hugs,
Barb
