Is there anyone out there who has has or is planning to have plastic sugery. I have worked very hard to get healthy and fit. But, I am going to need some major plastic sugery. Probably a total body lift. I would like to get the best doctor for the job. I have read about a plastic sugeron at ECU. Has anyone in north carolina had any work done. I have my 2 year follow up with my surgeon next month and will ask his in-put. I haven't lost much in the last year but pretty much maintained the weight lost. Thank everyone for anything they have to add.

I havent personally had any work done, my friend has had 2 rounds of PS (arms, circumfrencial TT, thigh lift) with DrEaves in Charlotte and is going for a 3rd this month (revisions/lipo) - I had a consult with him and was very impressed. Another non-WLS friend of mine is having her boobs done by him on the 31st this month as well. He is a part of Charlotte Plastic Surgery.

I'm not to that point yet but I do plan on some work when I get there. I have heard great things about:  Specialists in Plastic Surgery, P.A.
  • Roger B. Russell
  • Don L. Oschwald
  • Richard E. Carlino  They are here in Raleigh. The main Doc that I have heard about is Dr Oschwald. Your making a BIG decision so please do your research and I know it's hard but try to NOT let the price be your determining factor. Let the doctors credentials speak for themselves. Best Wishes!

hey, I had my surgeries at ECU Physicians plastic Surgery. My first one was covered by my insurance. I had a tummy tuck with Dr. Hitt on JAn 16 , 2007. He has left the practice though. My result are wonderful. The staff was very nice. I healed fast. The second surgery was my arm lift, excuse me for not using the medical terms my spelling sucks. The brachioplasty I had done by Dr. Hitt's partner Dr. Zeri on sept 24, 2007. LOL 3 days before my birthday. This one was hard cause I couldn't use my arms like I wanted to for a few weeks. I healed nicely. I did had a spot by the right elbow the took longer to heal. I like using ECU the staff knows me when i walk in the door. They call to check on me. Just last week i  got a letter from them wanting to know how i was doing. LOL and sense my insurance only covered one surgery . It was pretty sweet Dr. Zeri gave me a 20 percent discount for being a returning patient. Thsi is a teaching factility and the surgeons that performed my surgeries had 20 years experience each.

I used Dr Oschwald for my anchor cut tummy tuck on 9/27/07. He is in Raleigh and very well worth the 100 miles round trip for me. His office and staff are outstanding. I am very pleased with my results. I have pics on my profile. http://www.specialistsinplasticsurgery.com/ Belinda
