New photos
Good morning everyone!
I posted two new photos in my profile to document my 1 month progress....if you can call it that. *ducks head and hides*
I know there is progress - but I don't see it. I know from reading OH that it will happen, I'm just lacking in the patience department.
When I did my measurements I have lost 12 inches overall. So I'll let that be my first wow. (even though I know that it can't really be 12 inches because of user error)
Becky

There is definite progress Becky. It is so hard to see it when you are first out, your mind will take some time to process that there is less of you. Rest assured, the rest of us see the change already. You have clearly lost at least 12 inches, you should be proud! You look wonderful!
If you ever want to talk face to face with someone, let me know. I live in G-vegas as well and would love to meet you for lunch or coffee or something. Just send me an email.
Take care.
Ellen

THIS IS MY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Becky...
You are doing great! I am also lacking in the patience dept, especially after an entire week with so wt loss but then lost 3 lbs in 2 days. It took us a long time to climb the ladder up and we have to realize it's not gonna happen overnight (even tho we would like it to).
Keep up the great work!

Becky you are doing fantastic!! I can definitely tell a difference!!! Stop doubting yourself!!! Everytime I think that this whole WLS thing isn't working, I just think of how I used to eat and how I eat know, and I know that I'm eating a lot less now, so the weight has to come off eventually! Keep up the GREAT WORK!!! You're doing GREAT!

Becky,
You might be right about not getting the inches lost right ... It looks like at least 12 inches, if not more. As my friend Ellen said before me, it takes a while for our heads to catch up to actual progress that are bodies are making. It's happening, you just are having trouble seeing it right now. Just keep with the program. One day you'll see your reflection and think OMG, is that me?!
