Verdict from Psych eval today!!!

Hey everyone!!!!    I am cleared. SS is calling all my dr's for my clearance, and now I am just waiting to hear from them about my appt with Dr Nazari. Then I will be on my way, make room on that bench, I am on my way. Yay.I am so excited!! Thank you all for your support, I couldn't make this journey without any of you!!  Love Always,   Danielle

Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It won't be long now! When I went to meet with Dr. Naziri, they could have done my surgery in less than two weeks. I just had to put it off a little longer. I'll move over on the bench and shine your spot! Becky :)

That is wonderful Danielle.....you are on your way to a new journey in your life.   I am only about 4 weeks post and it is all so worth it!  I agree with you that the support we get here is what helps us through all of that!   Take care and good luck with your doc!   Pam

WOOHOO!! Congrats! Let us know what date they give. SS tends to move quick so it shouldn't be much longer now.

I know, I am very impressed!!! I should hear from them Monday about the date to meet with Dr N. How long do they usually schedule surgery after meeting with him?

It was less than 2 weeks for me. I had to put it off though so I could get things together for me to be gone from the classroom. I scheduled my surgery for a month after that meeting. So don't go back on carbs. It will be here before you know it.

I am not! I am very proud of how I have kept this up. I plan to stay on the 40 carb a day until my surgery. Every little thing that I can do to get ready. I have also started aquiring (sp) the taste for sugar free stuff. SF pudding is very tasty. mmmm. I have also given up all my soft drinks, for a month woohoo, cause I was a diet Mt Dew junkie!!! Now I am just a water junkie!! I am so proud of myself. Thank you for all of your support with this! You are awesome!! Danielle
