Don't get flustrated. I have just stalled myself. But I'm sure the scale will move a little faster soon. I'm still just counting protein so I don't know my calories. Next week I go for my 3 month checkup and I am hopeing for a move before then. Want a good report from the doctor.  Make sure you get the protein in, some say that will jiggle the scale.  You will be fine. Myrtis

Hello Rut ,,, Trust me, we all have had the " stuck in the rut " and thought the scale would never move.... BUT it will , your body is holding on it is so normal. I am 2 years out ( March 14th ) and I eat around 800- 1000 calories a day and have stayed the same for months you will find your click when you get to the point you are happy with your weight.  Don't give up , listen to the nutritionst he/she will lead you in the correct direction. As you start to add foods to your diet you will also see more weight starting to melt you will go through spurts of rapid loss and some times of weight hold ons, it is all normal . Be patient - thats all you can do. The scale will start to move again on its own - do NOT go back to liquids - you NEED to folllow the instructions the surgeon/NUT has given you - it took time to put the weight on, it takes time to get the weight off. You have lost 31lbs in just a little over a month - thats a big amount of weight - your body is just taking a much *needed* breather... you will not lose every day, or even every week - its a normal part of the weight loss process. Turn your focus to protein, water, vits/suppliments, exercise - that will help you out so much more in the long run than staying focused on the scale.  Also - pick one weigh day a week as your *official* weigh day... if you want to weigh daily thats fine but know the scale isnt always going to move. My *official* weight was whatever I weighed on Tuesdays.

Hi... Don't worry the weight will come off. Everybody here seems to go through this. I've gotten frustrated too. It seems i go a week or more at a time not losing anything and then only lose 1-3lbs. I still struggle with getting my protein and water, but walk all the time. I guess I expected the weight to come off quicker too. When I really think about it, i realize it would have taken me several months to get where I'm at now, so i should be satisfied. My brain just hasn't quite figured out yet that I am losing and it takes time no matter how you go about it! Hang in there!
