metabolism testing

I am excited to annouce I have (finally) scheduled myself for a metabolism test! I am going next Friday for a resting and exertion test and will find out my target heart rate! I am very interested to see how many calories my body is burning on average. I have a sneaking suspicion that I am undereating and am looking forward to finding out the answer. For those interested its something my NUT reccomended - she said to wait until you were in maintenance mode or at least 1 year out... it takes about that long for your body to adjust from the surgery and your metabolism to be more regulated. I waited until I hit my NUTs goal of 145 (I was given in Nov) and wanted to wait until I was on a set workout routine for at least 2 months before making the appointment. Anyways, I am having it done at the YMCA... for both tests plus them going over the results it takes around 3 hours and runs $80-$130 depending on what you have done. Anyways, I will post the results next week!
