Ok...I think I may FAINT...I got a date....
(((((Kim))))),
Congratulations!!!! I'm just delighted for you! You are going to be fine. While this surgery certainly is on your gastric system and not your head, I do think it helps get your head in the right place to start making those changes necessary to solidify the lifestyle that will ensure that you keep off the weight that you take of during the next 6 to 12 months. You will be amazed at the changes in your body and your attitude. Remember that to be successful at this you will need to follow your Dr's instructions, take all of your supplements and get your protien, learn to follow the rules of the pouch, make changes in your approach and relationship to food, get support and become physically active. There are a lot of things you'll need to do, but you'll master them each bit-by-bit and we'll be here to help and support you.
If there is anything that I can do for you, please let me know.
If you can, please come to the get together Sat. I know that you'll be busy getting ready for your big day, but we'd love to see you.
Hugs,
Barb
P.S. PM if you want an angel ... I'm no Darcie, but I'll do my best.
