wow moments

Is n't it nice to laugh at ourself.  All day Wed. I pulled up my pants. Yank..... Yank .......Yank.... Got home and was bringing all my junk in the house......hands are full....get a sliding sensation on my butt....anddddddd......before I could get to my desk to get my hands free... my pants fell off.  Thank heavens it was at home, cause underwear fell to. Oh my!  those pants are outta here. I also can fit behind the wheel of my husbands truck soooo now it is not just his truck I can drive it too.  I still refuse to by new clothes yet. I guess I will have to breakdown soon and do that. Ohh I put on my DH's Carhardt jacket and it fit me fine..he is getting worried cause I really like it.  My horses are getting worried also, cause when I ride I will RIDE!  Just had to share my little changes. Hope all had a good week. LOL RFLMAOPIMP!!!  Myrtis, that is just sooooo funny! We need to get a good artist to do a WLS comic book about our experiences.  Anyone know a cartoonist?  We could sell copies of our finished book as a fundraiser for the Walk from Obesity that I'm planning for us this fall -- the one that all y'all are participating in, right?  Right?  RIGHT?!??!

A book of comics would be a good  idea. I hope more will report there wowie Ha Has!  Myrtis

Mytis, That is a wonderful wow moment. I am still mustering up the nerve to try an 18 but I do think Barb is right in looking at thrift stores for clothes because if you buy something now and it fits great within a month or so it will be too big.                                      Annie LOOKING GOOD MYRTIS                                       

Too funny Myrtis! You need some new britches, girlfriend.....however, I am a thrift store junkie. Just yesterday, I was at one of our local ones and they had all their womens shirts for 2 for $3.00. I don't feel guilty that way. If I outgrow something in no time at all, I have lost a fortune. I just found two high end Kasper suits for $4.00. Can't beat that, huh. Love, love, love shopping now. SOOOO good to hear from you again Myrtis!  Those are wow moments indeed!  But you definitely need to get yourself some new clothes!  Or at least go try some on to figure out your current size.  Thi**** the thrift shops or even eBay!  I got some great deals on eBay when I was still too chicken to hit the stores! Please continue to keep us posted.  And make sure someone gets the winter ya-yas out of those horses before you saddle up!

Myrtis, I love your story. I laugh at myself all the time because I can't go in a store and figure out where to look at sizes. I automatically go to the old sizes I wore. I love the Goodwill Store. Their jeans are great and I have saved a lot of money buying them there. I even buy smaller ones for later if I see a great pair. At $4.00 a pair I can do that. I decided I had to buy new things when my skirt almost fell off during the children's sermon at church. My latest funny moment came last Saturday afternoon when I sat down at the movies with my kids and said, "hey they got new seats." They were the same seats as always but I fit them now. My kids loved it. Beth

Myrtis you can tell your husband not too worry, his Carhardt jacket is safe because while you may be able to fit into now, you won't soon because it will swallow you!
