*WOW* Done With All My Pre-op (Psych Eval)

I went to the Pain Management Center today for my last pre-op appointment the Psyc Eval.  I was really nervous and I had a slender man whose name started with an “A” and I could not pronounce lol.  It started off awkward he asked me where I worked and apparently he was a Psychologist for the Agency I work for and he didn’t have a good experience lol……  After we laughed about that I calmed down a bit and he began talking to me about everything under the SUN! I learned a lot and some of the info was surprising yet very helpful. 

I hope that he passed me and I felt good when I left. He said he was concerned about me because Dr. Pender wants to put in a “FILTER” so I don’t get blood clots????? Has anyone had this done and what is the deal with that?

So, I guess I just wait now?? For Dr. Pender to contact me? I am done with all the Pre-op stuff and I am not as scared as I was last week…… and I am ready for a new chance at life. I saw some of the before and after pictures on here and just started crying because I saw people that were my size (400+) get down to a “healthy” weight and now they are able to do things I dream about….. I think the risk is worth it and at this point I have to make a choice to take the risk and do it or it will only get worse.
