Psych eval went great

Hi! I just wanted to thank everyone for their encouragement this morning.  My psych evaluation went great, but I won't know if I 'm cleared until the "results session" in 2 weeks.  I met with Dr. Lisa Driver, who is a bariatric patient herself.  She had gastric bypass 9 years ago.  She was really easy to talk to and offered some insight to life after surgery.  Highly recommended! I'm so glad that you felt good about your appointment. I'll bet it was great to be able to talk with someone who has actually walked in the shoes you are about to 'buy.'

I also went for my psych eval today and I believe it went pretty well.  Not at all what I was expecting.  I really thought I would be sitting there looking at crazy pics trying to decide what they were.  Really I had an interview with the therapist and then after that there was a questionaire.  Have you went to any more appointments yet?

Hi! I had my pulmonary appointment on Tuesday.  That went very well.  I also met with the nutritionist after the psych eval.  I have my endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound on Monday.  Then, I have to wait 'til April 3rd for my cardiac.   The psych eval. was like an interview, but also like talking to someone I've known forever.  It was really laid back, but there was a lot of paperwork.  I was suprised how comfortable I was after the first few minutes.
