update on my problem with Duke ..LOL

  Well my chart is out of med/surg review  and will be sent to insurance soon! They said any day now. I have UHC and they said, that could take up to 15 days....the bad news is she said the surgery dates by then will be into April and May ...but that is Ok as long as I know this IS going to happen ....I also wonder if maybe she  just gave me those dates so  i wont get my hopes up  .......I have been calling here everyday since the med/surg bump out incident!.......thanks everyone for your support.....~Mary~

Good to hear that you are making some progress. My husband submitted his application last Monday and still hasn't been 'put in the system' yet ... I can see that this is going to be a long haul. They said that right now they are scheduling first appointments in mid June, so I imagine that your april/may surgery date, is probably about right.

I also had UHC and she's right, they do have up to 15 days to process it and get the determination back to you ... That said, I got mine back in 11 ... so there's hope it'll turn around sooner.
