PIZZA
I have bought some of the high protien flat bread at Kroger's ... It has 9 grams of protien in a serving ... Of course, there is no way I can eat a full serving, but still, it's a great source of protien. One of the flavors it comes in is a sun-dried tomatoe. I use that for the 'crust'. Then I add a low sugar tomatoe basil sauce, top it with low fat mozzerella cheese, very thinly sliced tomotoe, basil, red onion, and then some sort of meat ... I love using very thin deli sliced ham or some roast chicken breast. Toast it all warm and yummy. You can add the meat right at the end to prevent overcooking that can cause it to become tough.
This light version of pizza provides the flavor of a 'normal' pizza with more protien punch and less calories and carbs than the conventional version.
Hope that helps.
