Pounds or inches...who cares!
Hi everybody- I just wanted to share a wow. I haven't lost as much as I thought I would have in the way of pounds, but I must be losing inches! I went to Old Navy the other day hoping to find some plus size returns on the clearance rack. Well, I thought I'll try on a regular misses 20 just to see! Guess what, it was tooooo big. I can now wear a size 18! I was shocked. I usually have to wear women's sizes for the extra hip and booty room. I am beyound excited! I don't care as much about the scale moving now that I can see a difference in my clothes and people are beginning to notice. Robin

Hey Robin -
Thanks for sharing your WOW! You are so right. Sometimes when the scale is being stingy and won't give up an ounce, the tape measure is showing the real story and the scale will be following suit soon.
If you haven't don't so already, consider going to www.thinnerself.com and clicking on their chart weight and inches button. There you can document the detailed measurements once a month. You'll be absolutely amazed at the progress you are making. I like that site for a lot of reasons. One of them, is that the measurements are so complete that it really gives you a great picture of the size changes that are happening to your body. I think it helps to get your head around the fact that you are getting smaller, much smaller.
Again, congratulations! Enjoy those 18's while you can!
