Any good GP's in Wilson/Rocky Mount/Greenville area?
Ok.. I found some support groups. Thanks to all who helped me there.
Now I need a good GP. I hate mine, and only picked her due to her hours. Hubby has her too, and isn't thrilled. She thinks my chronic migraines are because I'm depressed and continually rushes to put me on anti-depressants. She also knows *nothing* about WLS, and since my surgeon is in Kentucky, not going to get my labs drawn there.
I'm going to ask my neuro in Greenville on Wednesday for their recommendation, but I doubt they know anyone in Wilson or Rocky Mount.
So any good GP's in the area? Don't care about gender, age, etc.
Andrea,
I have several doctors with the Physcian's East group here in Greenville. My Rhematologist is with them, my OBGYN and also my GP. The GP I go to is in the Winterville Office b/c it's so close to my house, but they also have the main offices on Arlington Blvd. I'm sure you can get in with one of the doctors there. I don't know that much about the GPs there, but I really like the entire practice and every doctor I've seen within it has been great. I've been seeing doctors at PE for over 10 years.
In case you want to know-- my GP is Dr. Turner as I said at the Winterville Physician's East. I mainly see him (or his PA) if I have a bad cold or similiar. I have my "specialists" for everything else. *hehe*
Good luck in finding a new doc!!!

It's a BOY!
I see Dr. Gregg Sigmon in Wilson, but he's not my favorite doctor. However, he is really good with my sister and treating her asthma, so I guess it's just personality difference. My husband and his family (parents, siblings, etc.) all see Dr. Stephanie Griffin, also in Wilson. They all really like her and I plan on switching over to her. Sorry, I don't know much about the GP's here in Wilson. I grew up closer to Rocky Mount where I saw Dr. Mitchell, who is also really good, but could be retired by now(???). If you need a good pulmonologist or obgyn, I recommend Dr. Pugh (pulmonologist) and Dr. Hanson (obgyn). Hope this helps a little. Good luck!
