Posted a couple pics
Lexi, you look wonderful! Congratulations on your terrific loss! Also on your self-improvement program. I could relate to that a lot, having gone through a similar process myself. It's a continuing process... I know it took courage to post pics. I have or at least had the same hangup. It will get better. And not only are you helping yourself. but you are helping so many others that you aren't even aware of. The best part of it though is that you are stanading up to the monsters in your head (I assume you have them too) who want you to deny your progress and your victory! You are a beautiful woman now. You are going to be a KNOCKOUT in a few months!
Thanks Suzanne lol you made me tear up
It's been a hard road and to be honest I haven't handled school very well since surgery, just too much at once. I will likely have to take my current class over, but i am damn determined. It's worth EVERY SINGLE BIT of work and just to know I am not a disgusting depressed smelly lump like I used to be is sooooooooooooo envigorating.
You know what? You really *Can* do anytning you put your mind to, even if the road is a little bumpy. I am proof.
Lexi - Size 6-8 and holding.
Thanks for these pics -- you look adorable!
It does take courage to keep on taking these photos through our journey and not just wait for the longterm "after" photo, but how motivating and generous of you to share them with us. I'm very grateful to the OH people who told me how important it is to take new photos now and then to document the journey and remember the things that happen along the way toward the destination. Bumpy or not, these are our roads. And we're definitely not alone on 'em.
And you look mah-velous, dahlink!
