I'm waiting on insurance approval from UHC. I'm concerned that the surgeon( Dr. Enochs) didn't order enough tests. I had a chest x ray, upper GI, ultra sound and of course the visit with the nutritionest and psychiatrist. I read where other folks have had many more test than that. What do ya think? Helen

I'm sure it all has to do with age ,history, ect. You probably just didnt need all the other tests.   Good luck and congrads...~Mary~

I think I had to have all these test because of all of the co-morbidities I have going on.  The docs have to make sure they know percisely whats going on with you so they don't get sued later on!!  Kelly ;)

Testing will varry from Doc to Doc and depend greatly on your own statistics. I can promise you that he wouldn't do anything to prevent you from being approved by insurance. Those are the peeps paying him big bucks! ;)

What you had sounds exactly like what I had. I did end up having a second chest exray after my 6 month insurance evaluation process because I needed a more current film before surgery, but that was it. It sounds like he covered all the basics with you.

Good luck in the waiting!!

Sounds like you got the basics. As others have said it all depends on your health and co-morbidities.  Just wait and see if you get approved. If not, then you've got that many more tests to do to see if they find something to supply more AMMO! That's how I did it! GOT MORE AMMO! I hope that you get good new with this submission, just giving you some heads up! BEST WISHES! KEEP US POSTED!
