2 week check-up

I just got home from my 2 week check-up. The doc said everything is looking good with my incisions and that I'm doing great. I've lost 12 pounds since surgery and he seemed very pleased. I asked if I could go back to work and he said sure. haha. So I'll be returning to work tomorrow and work a few hours a day and slowly work myself back up to all day. I'm fortunate to have a job with this kind of flexibility. I've been so bored sitting at home....I can just as easily sit in my chair at work and save some sick time. :) It's great to be a loser!!!! Becky PS. To the Southern Surgical patients....would you believe that I was in and out in 30 minutes this morning?!?!?! And no that isn't a typo!

It's going well so far. I've had applesauce, mashed potatoes, refried beans, grits, pureed potato/brocoli/cheese soup, and pureed progresso chicken noodle soup. Oh and sugar free pudding. It has all settled well. YAY! I hope it continues. :) Becky

30 minutes????????  GOOD GRIEF! That is awesome. I know you were happy.  Congrats on the positive 2 week check up. I'm proud of you for going back to work. At two weeks, I was dealing with that burning issue and there was no way I was going back to work-- it hurt just to sit in the recliner...  Good job girl! You are doing FABULOUS-O!!! :)  Hope to see you next week! :)

(( (( (( WHOO HOO! )) )) )) What super news.  (Except for the going-back-to-work part!)  Wow, 12 pounds.  A dozen!  You've lost a dozen pounds.  Yea, Becky!
