4 years and gaing weight back want revision
I'm confused - what is it that they can revise? If your upper GI is normal, sounds like everything is as it should be. Unfortunately, weight loss surgery is a tool. It gets harder as time goes on and we have to work at it really hard. Have you tried increasing your exercise? I agree with Jennifer's assessment too re getting together with a nutritionist. Without assessing why you're regaining and what the tools are that you need to lose, I'm afraid a revision might not be successful in the long-run. That may be what your doctor is trying to say to you. While we do have the honeymoon period of the initial weight loss, without a true change in eating habits long-term, it won't work for any of us. Are you taking bariatric vitamins and supplements for the vitamin deficiency?
I'm so sorry your physician isn't more sympathetic though. I think he may have your best interests at heart and may be trying to push you in the right direction. A revision surgery is always more dangerous and he may want you to go the less invasive, safer route first.
