WOW moment!!!
First of all,
Secondly, I am excited for you because I am so wondering what I will look like and what size i'll be after this whole process is over. I wish there was a place where you could submit a photo and (via "computer magic") see what you will look like with the estimated 65-70% of excess weight removed.
I'm in a 52 right now, trying to imagine myself in size 14......

Donna:
I can certainly relate to your WOW moment. I had not worn a pair of "real" blue jeams with button and zipper in over 20 years - always had to have the elastic ones from Lane Bryant catalogue or JustMySize. Anyway, to make this story short, I have been looking and looking for a pair of real jeans since losing weight but they all had huge thighs and the butt would hang to my knees. A month ago, I went to Macy's and on a whim, tried on a size 22 pair of jeans just to see if they'd button. I was so thrilled that the butt actually hugged me that I threw them on the counter in a heartbeat. I wore them the next day and realized that I kept having to pull them up, all day long, it was so aggravating. So I went back the next week and tried on a size 20. They fit perfectly and I realized that I had not even given myself the benefit of doubt when I bought the size 22. Just so thrilled in the moment of finding a pair that buttoned.
The best part of this story is that this weekend, I was passing through Macy's and just for the heck of it, I pulled an 18 and tried them on and GUESS WHAT, even they fit. Everyone who has known me for a while have commented about me wearing real jeans and how flattering they are so I have truly experienced a milestone. Isn't it great that something so trivial can be so satisfying
