Im back
Hi Annie -
I know that the weight loss starts to slow down right about now ... but that doesn't mean you are done. If I remember correctly, they told me that statistically you can expect to lose approximately 60% of the excess weight you are going to lose during the first 6 months ... you aren't even there yet. Then you can expect to lose the last 40% over the next 6 months ... So it really slows down. I recall that my weight loss started to slow in the 5th month, but it by no means stopped. I'm sure that increasing your workouts and the frequency of your meals will be helpful. Also, if you don't do it yet, you might consider using one of the software or online sites that allows you to track your intake. The reason for this ... at least for me ... is that I can see patterns that can be negatively affecting my weightloss that hadn't occured to me without seeing it laid out for me. You might see some areas where you can tweak your diet and make some positive changes.
I am so proud of you and all you have accomplished and I'm sure that there is more to come. Also remember that often when the scales are stingy the tape measure or our waist band tells the real story.
Keep up the fabulous work my friend.
You are looking as great as you feel!
Love,
Barb

Thanks for the compliment.
There are a number of sites you can use to track your intake. Right now, I'm using www.mydailyplate.com. I also have used www.fitday.com and www.sparkpeople.com. These are all available free and you can upgrade to a paid subscription if it suits you. www.freedieting.com has links to a variety of software, mobile, and pda solutions.
I'm still looking for the perfect solution, but find that I can usually find what I want to log on mydailyplate the easiest.
