Well the itching is gone but my face is wrecked. Its VERY red still, bumpy and REALLY dry. I uploaded a couple pics of my poor chin so you guys can see why I am whining so much.

UGH.

All I can say is "Ouch". I hope that your reaction clears soon. Take care and get better soon. Lisa

Lexi, Why did they apply a copper cream after the treatment? Before you had your treatment was your face clean and free of any lotions or makeup? Was your chin area shaved close to the skin? I'm a nurse and I worked doing laser hair removal here in Raleigh. Your reaction is not typical and does seem to be caused by an irritant. How many days out are you from the treatment?

My face was freshly clean, the copper cream was something used on burn patients to soothe I guess. It had a lavender smell to it so that might also have been an irritant. I don't know.

Hmmm...I hope you can figure out what the irritant was. I would have them do a test spot before continuing with anymore treatments and I would skip the lotion they put on you and ask for just some plain ole' hydrocortisone post treatment. Hope things are better for ya!

I'm going to skip all the creams and lotions next time (not even my normal moisturizers) and per suggestions from other people on here I am going to ice it down afterwards as much as possible. I'll need a few more treatments to see a major difference but I'm willing to risk this again, this hair is freaking awful :(

Oh my Lexi, Thanks for being so bold and posting pics of your chin. I am worried now since my lazer treatment is soon approaching.                                              Annie

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?
